Funding Structure
Fish & Kids is the MSC's foodservice outreach project, which has been half funded by Defra to the tune of £300,000 over three years. Defra's Environmental Action Fund aims to promote sustainable production and consumption and, with Fish & Kids, both of these overarching goals are achieved. Funding began in April 2005 and continues until March 2008.
This website was kindly fund-matched by Project AWARE, a charity formed by divers. In year two, the MSC will be seeking match funding for the project from educational and environmental trusts and foundations, as well as from corporate partners.
